Once again the response I got to the last chapter was amazing, I can’t believe it. This Chapter won’t be as long as it’s a sort of filler chapter to link things together; I really hope you enjoy this. Tell me what you think!!
Chapter 6
Draco rushed towards his door, not really knowing what he was doing. It was that sound, the sound that had tortured his own ears for so long that was the problem; he knew where it was coming from and that why he was scared. As his bedroom door swung shut behind him he noticed the wall ahead was opening, creating an archway and corridor beyond. At the end he saw a door. A door that was opened slightly, no light shone through but the sound came from within. The screams of the Gryffindor girl he had grown up being made to hate.
It was obviously the Castle, giving him a way to get to her, stop what was happening to her. He didn’t think about it really, he just ran. She wasn’t his friend, but she wasn’t his enemy either. Right now he just needed to stop the noise, it was bringing back the memories, he would hear these screams at all hours of the day, the innocent people being brought into his house, back then he had enjoyed it. He had thought that they were the criminals and they were getting what was right for them, that the mud-bloods and blood-traitors had it coming. How wrong and misguided he had been, he would never forgive his father for that. Thankful that he was rotting in Azkaban, happy that his mother was free from the abuse she got from him on a daily basis, she could now live her life as she wanted, and correct her mistakes. But could he? Narcissa had never taken the dark mark, not deemed important enough to the Dark Lord. He had though and he had watched as people were murdered, he’d never done it. He had been told to, maybe even tried to in some cases but he always missed, the green light never touched skin of his ‘enemy’.
The door was there, he knew it was hers and that was where the sound was coming from. The screams getting louder with each step, without pausing he pushed open the door expecting to see the brilliant girl under the wand of some tortures murderer she wasn’t she lay thrashing in her bed, tears rolled down her cheeks, Draco could make out words now, things like “stop.” “We don’t know” “We found it, please” if that wasn’t enough to warn him what was going on the next thing he set his eyes on did, the blood that was dripping down her arm from where she had moved it about, the fingers of her other hand raked down her forearm. Over the scar of the hideous mark that spelt the word, the scar itself was unharmed but the skin around it was being shredded in front of his cool grey eyes. He had to prevent any further damage, he knew that much. But how, wake her? Tie her down with a spell so she couldn’t move? Then she would still suffer her nightmare. So he chose his first option.
“Granger.” He shook her slightly but she continued to thrash and scream. “Granger, wake up. It’s not real. GRANGER.” He ended up shouting the name of the brown haired girl to rouse from her demon filled slumber. Shaking her shoulders harder once more her eyes snapped open, she was panting heavily, as if she had been running for her life. Red stained her clothes, her bed sheets and her nails. She was shaking but he needed to clean the blood from the wound, more just kept gushing out, for such a small girl she could do a lot of damage, he tried to pull her up, move her from her bed, but any contact his skin made with her set her off shrieking and crying once again, cowering away from him. In the end he picked her up, not easily, her kicking and screaming made it harder to hold her, but she was light, not underweight but still not heavy. He carried her to the bathroom; her room was easy to navigate around as the layout was near enough the same as his. The door to the bathroom was on the far wall and it lit up as they stepped in. He set her down on the edge of the large bath, conjuring a small flannel that he ran under the warm tap before softly wiping away the blood that coated her thin arm. She still whimpered and a few tears continued to leave her eyes but she held her arm still. Draco wasn’t used to this, cleaning up after people, helping them, being nice. He was doing a healers job, maybe even a house elf’s job. It was beneath him but he carried on working anyway.
Once he had fully cleaned the sticky red substance form her arm he found some bandage in a first aid kit under the sink in a small cabinet. Wrapping it around her arm tightly but not so as to cut off her circulation. The sat for a while, him quietly reassuring her that ‘she’ was gone, she wouldn’t hurt her again, soon enough Hermione went to get back in bed, with one last look back at the lump of blankets he was leaving to sleep he couldn’t help but wonder why. Why would he help her? Wasn’t she still the same lowly Muggleborn that he had met when he was eleven? No He thought, closing the door. She isn’t the same person. With that Draco could sleep soundly not knowing how much his life could change from one miniscule act of kindness towards a Bushy haired, Brown eyed Gryffindor girl.

Okay I am a Harry and Hermione shipper. I like them together. I still love the author and i still like Ginny. I never really cared for Ron because of the way he treated Harry. Anyways... I concluded she could put anyone (minus Cho) with Harry and he is a good match with them. Harry is just one of those guys. He has a great heart. If Harry couldn't be with Hermione i wish it was with Luna. But in the books i can see that he is good for Ginny. I dont hate her. I dont mind her. I just dont like that fangirl kinda love. well my friend and me had a argument over this and i wouldn't budge. But i do think it is crazy to hate an amazing author for a pairing.
