Harry Potter Question

was anyone else pissed about this?

In DH the book Harry and dudly shared a cute moment that they did NOT put in the movie I was mad about this through out the movie that was a good part in the book.
What about you do you think they should have left it out or put that scene in

Totally pissed. But I was even MORE pissed when they didn't include that scene with Lupin in DH, when Harry's saying he should go back to Tonks and Teddy and how Lupin thinks his kid would be ashamed of him!

they have to delete some scenes from the book.. and there will always be some scenes missing and someone who dont like it.. movies have never that much details like books or the movie would be 10 hours... Dont watch the movies if you expect ALL scenes from the books

yeah. but thats supposed to be why they made the DH into 2 parts

I agree. Even if they did put it in two parts, there is no way that they are going to get everything in there..

Yeah, they left out like ninety percent of the deeper emotional stuff. No Lupin baby problem, no Dudley redemption, no Harry/Dumbledore struggle. It was annoying to say the least.

So effing pissed.
the whole point of making the DH into 2 movies was so they could get all the details in. WHY LEAVE OUT THE GOOD BITS THEN?

Yeah, I think it's going to be included in the deleted scenes on the DVD though because it mentions something about Dudley and Harry share a moment or something like that.

I can't believe none of you are pissed the Wormtail didn't die!

I thought he did, but in a different way. Instead of the hand strangling himself, he just gets hexed or something. But that's just what I assumed.

It would have took less than a minute for Dudley to walk over and shake Harrys hand. Urgh.

I'm pissed that they left out Harry finding the half-written letter and the ripped photo from his mum to Sirius.

But like someone already said... There'll always be bits missing, and always people that don't like it.

On the whole, I thought this one stayed pretty close to the book, especially considering the epic fail that was HBP.

Nicely put :) I was pleasantly surprised with this one- considering what happened with HBP. Of course, there were some scenes (such as the half-written letter & photo of Harry on the broomstick) that I would have liked to see...but overall it did make up for HBP.

yeah you know thats too bad. i couldnt believe when i saw they had missed sooo much there.

1. harry and dudley not shaking hands and i really wanted to see Uncle vernon telling - "WEll its goodbye then boy" and aunt petunia trying to tell something but not manageing to.

2. the scene where ron comes and breaks up harry n ginny's kiss becoz thats important for the plot.

3.Harry versus Lupin - i so much wanted to see it!

4. harry doesnt read sirius's letter - argh!! what the hell?

5. in godric's hollow, voldemort does not come at all! it would have been cool to see voldemort coming inside the room as harry n hermione vanished through apparition jumping out of the window.

6. they dont bother of Phineas nigellus at all and its important!

7. the hermione in the movie was very careless- going to godric's hollow without polyjuice potion? not taking phineas's portrait knowing it connects to snape? the movie hermione wasnt as clever and not the usual hermione at all!!!

so all in all, WHY THE HELL DID THEY SPLIT THE MOVIE IN TWO PARTS, IF THEY CUT THE ESSENTIALS? WHY NOT NO.3 - ITS DAMN IMPORTANT!!!

so what if it comes along with the DVD, it doesnt make sense why they should delete it from filming!

I agree on some points, but guys, you can't expect them to put everything in that is written in the book. For some things there just wasn't any room. I agree with points 3, 4, 5 and 6. I think those moments were really essential. What I personally missed was Kreacher's tale. That wasn't really the way I expected it. But then again, there were some things that pleasantly surprised me - like for instance the scene where Harry and Hermione dance. That was one of the sweetest onscreen H/H moments ever as friends. I thought that really broke the tension.

I honestly didn't really miss it, but I also heard that it will be in the deleted scenes. I understand that they aren't going to get everything in there, even if they put it into two parts. But, that's the great thing about DVD's.

Before the movie was filmed I made a list as I read DH of what must be in movie. That was number 1. It represented a closure between Harry and Dudly. I'm praying they don't mess up Severus' memories. They've already moved the location.

Yep and I'm praying hard hat all changed. Location is one thing but anything much more and I'll really flip. I still believe how short the Pt 1 was. I at least expected 2 hrs plus of movie.
