Harry Potter Question

What was the thing flopping around in the King's Cross Station?

This may have been asked before, but I couldn't find it so...
In the 7th book, when Harry is sitting in the King's Cross Station with Dumbledore, there is a baby type thing that is is excruciating pain that is flopping around in the background?
Does anyone have any idea as to what the heck that thing was? Because it kind of confused me and distracted me almost as much as it did Harry.

It was the part of Voldemort's soul that was inside Harry ever since the day Harry got his scar. It looked like a little baby because it was only 1/7 of Voldemort's soul, and it was helpless without a body to be in. I think if Harry decided to die, then that part of Voldemort's soul might have gone back to him. I'm not sure about that part, but I'm positive it was Voldemorts soul.
